Mcfig, Thanks for trying to me help get signed up as a member. I tried the link with checking account to where you said to on my paypal. It was asking for a valid email address. Again not impressed with this web site set up. It should be easy especially when you are sending money for a service.

OK Guys I FINISHED MY BRUSHLESS CONVERSION. WEll the first test run resulted in my locked 2nd gear conversion coming apart. So I fixed that

issue. Then Tried again. This Time I shredded the TNX 43T spur gear. Third Try. The Lipos Needed a Charge. 4Th Try. I modified a revo Trans

shaft and used a 54T Jato spur with a 14T combo. Wheelies pretty much on demand. Will need a wheelie bar. Ungluued the Right side tires.

So I installed a set of lst afteshock wheels with a 35T TNX steel spur gear and MOd 1 14T pinion. It ran good for about 2 passes in the grass.

Until the motor started to smoke. NOT GOOD!!!!! I then noticed that the LST wheels where hitting the tie rods. OOOOOPPPPS!!! So I put on

another set of wheels that did work. But now the slipper from the 3.0 TNX is not working with 5.2 Steel spur. So not Sure what I want to do?

Get the correct slipper pads from TAMIYA USA. Or use the modified Revo slipper with option of running multiple spur set ups that are available

from Traxxas. My question to You Guys is WHAT SPUR COMBO WOULD RECOMEND??????? I have a 3600KV hacker C50max 14.4 motor with 4 cell

8000mah lipos. I do like the beefy 5.2 TNX Spur. Will I still be able to wheelie with a 35T spur gear? I would post completed pics. But having a hard

Time with that. It looks great!!! To me anyway. Looking forward to all comments and suggestions.

Go to either photobucket.com or imageshack.us and upload your photos there. You can then post links to them on here.

My tnx runs still perfectly, only the pins from the star who holds the 3 spiders in the diffs are broken. I think i made someone by self. Now i use the Integy Delrin Spur Gear, because the orig. Traxxas Spur Gear have repeatedly lost the tooth :roll

man i hate that part that holds the spider gears. if they only made one part of the diff steel, it should have been that.

I know this reply is a little late. Sorry for that. Just getting back into the RC Trucks after the winter. That is a crash. How fast is your Truck if you still have it? I finished my Tnx build. Very Happy with it. Trying to figure out the trans ratio and diff ratio so I can plug the numbers into Rc monster speed calculator. I had the info and forgot it. I would post pics of the final build but the photo bucket is a pain to me.
